The archetype of the LFO typezero.
Archetypes are colossal humanoid creations that were excavated from the Scub. They serve as the "skeletons" of all LFOs. Upon discovery of the Archetypes, the scientists at the Tresor research facility determined that they were able to move through the use of trapar, and designed LFOs to use the popular sport of lifting to fully take advantage of this ability.
Since the archetypes are part of the Scub, Eureka seems to have the ability to communicate with them, with Nirvash being the primary example of this. Eureka frequently communicates Nirvash's feelings when something is being done to or around it.
History[]
The Scub Corals only have one form of direct communication; they fuse with other lifeforms, consuming their physical body but allowing them to remain extant as a being of energy within the Scub coral. Humans, upon making contact with the coral, were afraid of being consumed by it -- The Scub, not understanding that their attempts to communicate were perceived as aggressive, drove humankind from the Earth in search of another world.
Upon coming to the understanding that the loss of individuality was not a palatable experience to humans, the Scub created the Archetypes as an attempt to establish communication. Humanity, however, had already fled, and in the course of their extended absence, most of the archetypes died.
The Archetypes were superseded as a form of communication by Sakuya and Eureka.
