Hi! In the Eureka Seven Hi Evolution: Anemone movie, its revealed that every version of Eureka Seven is considered canon and official.
When Anemone frees eureka after an encounter that looks like its was taken straight out of Summer Wars film, Eureka mentions having a dream about being with Renton.
And this dream sequence (which is a blink and you miss it event) shows scenes from every single version of the eureka seven franchise- The manga, the games, the sequel series, the films, the ovas, etc.. All of it.
This confirms that every variation of Eureka Seven that has ever been released is part of the same universe and canon.
Which means, there isn't any non canon or different elements to the series. everything is part of the same experience that Renton and Eureka had.
hello I saw your ideas for the second adaptation of ao and then I would like to contribute but first I would like to know if bones is taking into account this page and if it is a possibility to do so thanks (I hope your response
I don't remember if I posted anything to that page someone made. I highly doubt BONES checks this place, especially considering they're a Japanese company who would sooner read JP forums and what not before reading an English wiki.
ya apparently dvd version is slighly different then the televised version especialy in that it displays a happy picture at the end of ep 50. you can also determin this from listining to the cast comentery on the last two episodes were they say things like "huh i remember this being different"
It's been a long time since I've been on this wiki but I was wondering if anyone has seen the whole Don't Bring Me a down extra episode? I've seen parts A, B, and C but I can't find the rest. What happens at the end of part E? From what I've seen on tumbler it looks like Fleur and Elena meet Ao and know him because a picture showed him crying.
I just saw the whole episode but there are no subtitles for parts D and E. it just confused me even more when Nirvash Neo turned gold and its different than episode 24. Although it ended happy for Ao coming home and reuniting with Fleur, it hasn't changed my opinion that E7: AO is a terrible sequel.
The upcoming movies better be good and I'll be going to see them if they are released in Tennessee.
The first movie comes out in Japan on September 16th. From my understanding from the release announcement, the US release should follow the Japanese release fairly closely (it's pretty vague at just mentioning it in the Fall) as I doubt they'll do a simultaneous release.
Ello! Again, sorry I tend to be inactive for long lengths of time. I intend on becoming more active. In other news, do you think we should add articles for merchindise, or an article for a list of merchindise such as figures, model kids, ect? Just an idea I had, not sure if it would be something we'd want to spend time on or if there's other more important things that need to be done.
It's up to you guys, whatever keeps this place chugging is fine with me. I've been so busy lately, haven't had much time for the wiki.
Although, we can probably improve on some character bios, add bios for characters missing them, update some pictures, and work on episode summaries for AO (did we ever finish those?). With the lack of any new E7 content, we're starting to graze a brick wall to what we can do around here...
Lolz, noticed I always seem to reply to your messages late at night.
I knew a little bit of it before it started airing on adult Swim last November. I watched a few episodes on Youtube about two years ago and thought it was a decent show. The first half was funny (except the period following Kamina's death and Simon's depression) but the final arch, I knew the ending was going to be a sad one. I was disappointed at the ending when Nia "died" just a minute after she and Simon said their "I do"'s and Simon spent the rest of his life traveling around the planet to maintain peace because it was Nia's last wish. I really wanted him and Nia to have a happy married life and have children together, but at the end, the creators of Gurren Lagann defended how it ended and don't regret it. shame on them for depriving Simon and Nia of a happy ending.
In an interview after the final episode aired in 2008, the creators would only say that a happy ending wouldn't have worked out. They kept dodging questions about why they made it a sad ending, but did say that they did have second thoughts about the ending when it was in production but felt it was the right ending for the series.
No argument. Simon deserved a happy ending with Nia after all the hell they went through to save the universe and be together. Even though they were able to fulfill their dream of getting married, he became a widower a mere minute after marrying her, and he was calm about it because both knew it would happen. Still, I really wish that Simon got to live a peaceful life with Nia and have children together, and still create more peace around the world.

IIRC, same thing that happened with E7 except E7 did get changed... Ep 51 was supposed to be the real ending, but that was changed later in development due (I think because of how well the VA's got into their character, and how well they got into the story).
It's an interesting show so far, definitely a little absurd.
Gurren Lagann is okay in my opinion but not worth to my liking. I was disappointed that Simon and Nia didn't get a happy ending like Renton and Eureka did (even though they lived a life full of grief and loss in AO after the death of their daughter and being forced to give away their son). Because of AO, I don't acknowledge it as a sequel and go my ideas from the page of ideas for a second AO adaption. Either way, I've seen Gurren Lagann once and that was enough.
Have you read the interview with the creators that was from 10/16/2007? Fans were allowed to directly ask the creators random questions, especially regarding Simon and Nia's relationship. Some embarrassing questions like if they "did it" during their seven years together and their activities during the ten days between the final battle and their wedding. I remember reading questions like these on Sayonara Fall In Love tumblr where people were asking if Renton and Eureka "did it" during their one year journey, and even I asked the same question after a friend got curious.
Just type "Gurren Lagann Interview", and it should come up on the first five list of sites. All of the questions and answers are posted on the page, and the creators talk about their initial doubts of the ending when it was in production.
I recall Adult Swim saying they may pick it up... even if it is short, and obviously not as good as the original series, somebody may be interested to come look around for E7 stuff and might end up here.... we can only dream. :(
Long story short, on another wiki where I am a chat mod, they get emotes. For the emotes to work they usually need to be on a wiki when the emotes are made. I was wondering if it would be alright if I temporarely posted what the emote would be here and then deleate it after it is uploaded as a emote there. Just wanted to check with you to see if you would be cool with that or not (you do spend more time editing here so I guess I consiter you as a larger admin with me.)
Also, cool background picture. I have to say it is much more professional than the old one.
I guess during the parts were the coralians are attacking the town and The END came could be a little bit, btu that is all I could think of. Just thought it would be a cool little thing I could inform you about, I'll let you know if any other wiki events come along in case you don't notice them.
